Just a quick little one-hour doodle I did randomly of Genjo Sanzo from Gensomaden Saiyuki. Trying to keep the pencil from smudging because I'm left handed was a bugger.

I don't think his head is proportional; or his hands. I think it's his hands. Dang. I think an edited version is in order soon. Very soon.

Yes, I realize it looks like a weird hybrid between realistic-wannabe and anime; I naturally try to draw humans realistic and the picture I was basing this off of was obviously anime, so it came out as a weird bastard-child of the two.

General comments are greatly welcomed. Mild suggestions/criticism also welcome, but be gentle, I've never done anything anime/manga based before and I haven't drawn portrait-like things of humans since middle school.

...God, I feel old now.
